The "discovery" of the pyramid of the Sun

Semir Osmanagic relates his discovery in his book about the pyramid of the sun ("Bosanska piramida Sunca", that you can read here (bs) in Bosnian, a partial translation in English is here (en)). During a trip across Bosnia, with his friends Bojan Zecevic and Jovo Jovanovic, a trip apparently aimed at studying the "stone spheres", these mysterious objects claimed by Mr. Osmanagic to be "energetic" objects (see this text about them), Mr. Senad Hodovic, director of Visoko Museum, talks about "an interesting phonomena, a hill with a pyramidal shape". This seems very interesting to Mr. Osmanagic - who thinks that "nature rarely gives a perfect geometrical shape to a hill". And he immediately considers that, "even if the hill is 700 meters high", one cannot "reject the possibility that it is the work of human hand".

Mr. Osmanagic then begins to gather the "arguments" that make the place worthy of further investigation:

- On the other side of the valley, he notices another hill, with a pyramidal shape as well; it’s an enlightenment: during his travels in South and Central America, he noticed that pyramids are allways paired, a big one and a small one, pyramid of the Sun and pyramid of the Moon. Here one has two pyramids, forming the "gateway" to the valley of Visoko, through which one must go, coming from the North as well as from the Southe. And, while Mr. Hodovic talks about the 700 hundred years old fortress, Mr. Osmanagic only thinks of his pyramid of the Sun and pyramid of the Moon.

- Mr. Hodovic shows him, far away, the mountain Perun. Perun was the god of thunder for ancient Slavs... So it is a region with frequent storms, and that is another piece of the "mosaic": storms, "energetic" spheres, Costa Rica... No doubts, Bosnia was at a time the "energetic center" for this part of the world.

- Going down to the foot of the hill, he finds a few stones, for instance this one, described as "processed stone":

or these slabs, coming into view amidst the grass, that he obviously prefers to interpret as "remains of a very ancien civilization" than as natural slabs, or remains of a medieval road to the fortress:

(for a discussion on the nature of these stones, see the article about the "geology of the pyramids").

- Trying to convince Mr. Hodovic - more interested, at this time, by his medieval stones than by an alleged pyramid, Mr. Osmanagic shows him the utimate evidence, a comparison with the picture of a mexican pyramid from his book "Civilizations before the beginnin of official history":

For Mr. Osmanagic, there isn’t anymore doubt: the shape is the same, identical platform at the summit on which, says he to his interlocutor, there was a temple (not preserved because it was made of wood)... In life, says Mr. Osmanagic, "there are no coincidences... but signs that one must follow". It really is a "pyramid of gigantic proportion", unique in Europe; an object "that will be an extremely important symbol of this european area from which emerged civilized life"...

From Nenad Djurdjevic, alias "Hyperborean", trying to explain why the Turin Polytechnic report has never been published:

"To reveal the chemical composition of the high strength concrete of the Bosnian pyramids would be like revealing the formula for Coca-Cola. I do not think that Osmanagic, who is an excellent businessman, would be so naive and stupid as to do so. Just imagine the value of this formula in construction."
